Project: Mural, Beer Label

I created a central branded mural for ChuckAlek;s Biergarten tasting room. “Chuck and Alek” are the owners' grandfathers, and their beers are inspired by ancestry and a love of German beer. To capture the nostalgic backstory of their brand, I collaged beer labels, photos, old ephemera and memories behind portraits of their grandfathers—and used their poppy brand motif as a border. I also illustrated a beer label for ChuckAlek’s delicious Imperial Russian Stout— “Katerina.”
